5. CONCLUDING REMARKS
The ship waves by actual relatively small vessels were measured and those results were compared with calculated ones by two kinds of simplified estimation method. Comparing the calculated results of ship waves with the experimental ones, they shows good agreement in the maximum wave heights and wave periods except for the wave periods of high speed vessel. In the first step of the research of ship waves by a small vessel, we could obtain the characteristics and the useful estimation method of ship waves generated by a small vessel.
